What is IELTS?
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is a standardized English language test designed for non-native speakers who wish to study, work and live in an English-speaking atmosphere. The IELTS can open doors to international and professional opportunities in numerous institutions and places across the globe where English is used.
There are currently two versions of the IELTS test: Academic & General Training: IELTS Academic is intended for people who would like to study at universities and other institutions. On the other hand, IELTS General Training is planned for people who wish to migrate to an English-speaking country. In each version, there are four modules i.e., Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking skills.
What is PTE?
PTE (Pearson Test of English) is a computer-based English language test deliberated for the non-native English speakers who desire for pursuing higher education abroad. It tests four skills i.e., Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing. Most of the time two skills are tested together like Reading Listening or Speaking & Reading. The complete test is taken in a single session, sitting at a computer in a safe environment.
